One Europe outfit picked, 29 more to go…

Sometimes you just need those nights to go wild and crazy and literally just dance the night away…

So last week was my birthday weekend, and I decided to spend it in Ottawa as Nazia suggested.  It was such a good break to literrally fly away from everything here and spend a weekend somewhere else.

I’m disappointed I didn’t take many pictures, I was just so caught up in the moments of the weekend.  This is something that will have to change when I go visit Europe.  Need to take as many memories as I can.

But the weekend was great, I saw Nazia’s and Imran’s new house, I met up with some friends in Ottawa, I toured downtown Ottawa, went to Parliament, had a fancy dinner, danced at a club (which reminded me of Guelph), and stuffed myself at a breakfast buffet in a horse track.

My favourite part was that I flew, and now I can never take a bus again.

Also, our collection of quotes:

- “Man if I didn’t have a penis, I could do ANYTHING” - Imran
- “Man, it’s so hard to find a good squeegie in this town!” - Imran
- “That’s something I heard in a movie, it might not have happened to me” - Imran
- “Sofa: 2, Zamir: 0” - Nazia

I need to do more adventures like these!

I’m 24!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!

A great weekend in T.O.

Got an opportunity to end things, and to start new adventures. I can’t wait till the summer adventures start!

Year of the Dragon

On January 23rd 2012, it will be Chinese New Year, and the Rabbit will sleep, and the Dragon will awake, and will rule for the year.  One of the reasons i’m really excited for 2012 is because it’s my year. I am a dragon, and Earth Dragon, and I feel it will give me strength in my future, and also because a lot will be happening this year (school, work, travel) and it might be a blessing to know the Dragon’s power will be strong this year.

I love mythology as everyone should know, but I learned so much more while researching Chinese Mythology.  Here are things specific to me below:

THE DRAGON:

A symbol of good fortune and sign of intense power, the Oriental Dragon is regarded as a divine beast - the reverse of the malicious monster that Westerners felt necessary to find and slay. In Eastern philosophy, the Dragon is said to be a deliverer of good fortune and a master of authority. Therefore, those people born in Dragon years are to be honored and respected.
